The early childhood center was started in 1969 by Nancy Thomas. Happy Time Day Care is non-profit organization that seeks to develop a child’s ability to think, reason, and to solve a problem. The curriculum in place enables the teachers and parents participate in the growth of the children through activities that bring the three parties together. Classroom arrangements give kids an opportunity to socialize and be alone too if need be. The school located near a park allows children have sufficient play ground to explore and relax.
Best place I could have ever hoped to find for my daughter! My daughter loves her teachers and is happy from the time I drop her off to when I pick her up. Thank you Happy Time for ALL you do for the kids you care for!
Happy Time has been a blessing to our family. I can not speak highly enough of the environment Nancy and all of the teachers promote. They work SO hard and make our sons days enriched, safe, healthy, and FUN! As parents, it is a huge relief to have your children spend their day in a place that you feel comfortable with and know that they are getting the best care possible.
Hidden Valley is an all-inclusive preschool that offers eco-healthy child care. The teachers are equipped with skill sets that accommodate children who have different levels of understanding. Additionally, the school provides organic, balanced and nutritious snacks which contribute to over all well-being of a child. Families of the children get a monthly newsletter that update them of the going-ons of the children and daily routine and any changes in the school programs. The little ones also get to play outdoors twice a day in fresh air while cycling, swinging, and climbing.

This school has been of great benefit to our family. We have experienced teachers that can teach to each students specific needs and really appreciate the balanced class sizes. Our kids have particularly benefited from the strong math and science teaching. We also very much appreciate the way that faith is integrated into all aspects of the day. The staff and teachers are attentive to us as parents and also are committed and focused in their work of preparing young people for the future ahead of them. Highly recommended.

My kids love this school! Like all kids, they’re natural learners and they love the freedom to follow their passions and to take responsibility for their own learning. It’s a thrill to see the pride and accomplishment when they come home and present to me the reports they’ve given at school. Their level of engagement with school is amazing. The individually paced, collaborative work fits perfectly with how their little brains work, but they don’t care about all the research that supports Montessori learning. They just love it.
Many Rivers supports the whole child and offers real community. This is the Montessori environment I've dreamed of for my child. A creative, energetic, multi-talented group of parents, teachers, and kids had a vision - and it has become a reality through hard work, dedication, and a true team approach. And fully licensed by the Department of Human Services! First year has been such a success - bring on the summer programming!

This is the second year we have chosen to send our little man to Montessori School of Duluth and we couldn't be happier. He has had so much personal growth and the staff is so supportive and amazing. The classrooms have some new outdoor space for our kids to learn and there are some exciting outdoor renovations in the works that are sure to enhance their experience even more. So happy with our choice in MSD!
Love this school! I have 4 children and they all attend. The location and outdoor environment can not be beat. The children's house teachers are top notch and the new elementary teacher is unbelievably skilled. So happy to have this option for my children!

We have 2 children enrolled at UNS. A preschooler, that has been there from the time he was an infant, and our 11 month old daughter. We have no complaints; the teachers are great and knowing our kids are safe and well cared for is invaluable.
